JOSH CASE: CEO
Josh is the CEO of Photosol US, Panorama Company and Energy Capital Group. He has over 20 years of experience in solar development, real estate development, and finance. He is responsible for more than 4,000 MWac of projects sited strategically next to key interstate transmission infrastructure and/or retiring coal generation. He has sold projects totaling 900 mw of solar with storage (Utah Solar 1 and Goshen Canyon) to and continues to consult for EDF Renewables the North American subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles and has consulted for other large renewable energy companies including Tenaska and Renewable Social Benefit Funds. Previous other experience includes financial advisory and investment banking services at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and structuring capital and operating equipment leases as Director of Sales and Marketing at M.J.M.Capital Inc.
ROBIN UCELLI: President
Robin is the President of Photosol US, LLC, co-founder and managing partner of Photosol. Prior to Photosol, he worked for General Electric Real Estate France at the Investment division and was specialized in Real Estate and PV infrastructures. Robin has led the growth of Photosol from a startup business in 2008 to being the second largest owner and operator of solar facilities in France in 2019. His expertise includes project finance, project development, organizational management and contract negotiation.
DAVID GUINARD: Founder
David is the CEO of Photosol, co-founder and managing partner of Photosol. David has more than 12 years of experience in renewable energy sector. In addition to the management of the Group his expertise in the sector is recognized in energy consulting services and lobbying for development of renewable energy. Prior to Photosol, he worked at Allianz Global Investors as a financial analyst.
LEESA NAYUDU: VP of Origination and Power Marketing
Leesa brings almost 40 years of experience with her which spans the utility, muni, IPP and consulting spectrum. Her experience includes power plant operations, power dispatch, transmission arrangements and power contract origination and negotiation. Leesa was previously the Resource Planning Manager at Pasadena Water & Power, Director of Strategic Origination & Development at Calpine, Origination Regional Director at Sempra Generation and other positions. She has consulted for some of the leading renewable energy developers in the US and has originated over 1,200 MW of PPAs on both the utility and IPP sides of the table.
THAER FLIEH: VP Engineering
Thaer is the Vice President of Engineering licensed in multiple states with more than 16 years of experience in utility transmission, solar & energy storage engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. He has played significant roles at various stages of development on more than 20 GWAC of projects across the US and internationally, (working for SunEdison & 8minute Solar before joining Photosol US). Thaer is experienced in structuring PPAs and energy blocks that meet the energy customer needs and create value.
ROBERT HOLBROOK: VP Development
Robert is the VP of Development for Photosol US Renewable Energy. He is responsible to providing leadership in developing large scale solar projects throughout the US. For more than a decade, while at First Solar, he collaborated across permitting, engineering, construction, and operation and maintenance disciplines to successfully bring over 2,500 MW of projects to commercial operations.
KARIM MOUTAWAKKIL: CTO
Karim is the CTO of Photosol Group in charge of all technical aspects during the different project phases, from development to construction and operation. He has a degree in electrical and energy engineering from the University of Berlin, Germany. Karim has more than 15 years of experience in developing, building and operating large scale solar facilities in several countries with a track record of more than 450 MWp and 50 sites built and in operation as lead engineer and head of operations.
ALIX LAJOIE: French development and financing lead
Alix is Director of Business Development for Photosol in the US, in charge of coordinating development activities with local partners, creating new partnerships, acquiring projects and financing development activities. Alix has more than 11 years of experience in the energy markets globally. She worked 5 years for Natixis New York financing up to 1,400MW/USD2.0Bn of Power and Renewables Infrastructures in the Americas, and previously, was leading the development and engineering efforts for Photosol in France as a Project Manager.
THOMAS AUBAGNAC: Business Development
Thomas is the Head of Business Development of Photosol. He is in charge of initiating all the new projects developed by the Photosol Group, finding new partnerships, acquiring projects in development. Thomas joined Photosol after 6 years at Natixis, financing all type of renewable energy project in France. Previously, he worked for Deloitte in Transaction Services and Audit with a main focus on international energy companies.
DHAYANESH VELUSAMY: Engineer
Dhayanesh is highly experienced with power system modeling, system reliability studies, generation interconnection feasibility studies, NERC/WECC compliance studies, short circuit and Arc flash studies, large/small generation interconnection process, transmission and interconnection planning, renewable generation project design and development, prospecting, energy scheduling, production cost analysis. He’s licensed with the California Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors & Geologists.
JACKIE FOX: Project Manager & Executive Assistant
Jackie is the Project Manager and Executive Assistant for Photosol US Renewable Energy. She is experienced in land evaluation, documentation, and acquisition. She plays a key role in the research, organization, and communication of Photosol US’s development activities and internal processes including payroll, accounts payable, and marketing. She plays a vital roll in the coordination with third-party vendors to ensure completion of development studies. She also is integral in the preparation of RFP responses and bi-lateral proposals.
JOHN DOYLE: Developer
John is a Lead Developer for Photosol US Renewable Energy on approximately 700 MW of solar and storage projects. Previously, he was VP of Business Development at Coronal-Panasonic and President of Peachtree Capital Advisors. While at Coronal-Panasonic he acquired and developed 164 MW.
JESSE SALVESON: Director of Construction
Jesse is the Director of Construction for Photosol US Renewable Energy. He is responsible for EPC planning, coordinating and managing all aspects of multiple solar energy projects from pre-construction to operations. With over 12 years of experience in the utility scale solar photovoltaic energy industry, he has directly managed over 400 MW of projects from late stage development/pre-construction through commissioning for numerous top tier developers in numerous project locations across the country.
STEFAN SCHMID: Solar Design & Optimization Engineer
Stefan is an experienced Design Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the renewables and environment industry. His skills include Power Generation Modeling Simulations, PV & Energy Storage system design, performance optimization, and cost analysis. Prior to working at Photosol US Renewable Energy, he worked at Power Production Management creating system designs & construction documents for residential and commercial solar projects.
EMILIE CALDICHOURY: Financial Analyst for the US Operations
Emilie is a Financial Analyst on the team. She has a master degree in Business Management from a top-tier French Business School. She has past experiences in Renewables and Infrastructure projects financing across US and Europe, with EDF Renouvelables, and Scor Investment Partners Infrastructure fund.
ALEXANDRE AUBAGNAC: Intern for PhotosolDéveloppement SAS
Alexandre is an Analyst on the team. He graduated in Business Law and had past experiences in working with several GreenTech and MedTech start-ups to help them develop on both legal and strategic grounds. He focusses in business development support and electricity market analysis in the United States.
PATTI GOKEE: Financial Bookkeeper
Patti works with Photosol US as an integral bookkeeper and project manager. She excels at not only dealing with our organization’s day to day fiduciary responsibilities but also long-term management and planning.
